Pagani Monday

I found this Huayra image on a site that is reporting all cars (32 in total!!! Beat that low recall number, Toyota!) are being brought in to change out hardware in the steering wheel airbag assembly that could come loose. Of course….this recall is at no cost to the owner.

MASERATI BITURBO REDO

There are a bunch of redos on this site as I have been tied down with work and then become re-interested in the blog…however, something cool may be going down with the BiTurbo. A new project has reared its head that may combine one somewhat capable car with a not-so capable car (the BiTurbo haha).

Sacrilege you say? Blasphemy? I was moving it around the garage the other day and low and behold…..the timing belt skipped or a plug fouled. I know of not one BiTurbo owner that enjoys this. Regardless..I was dreading having to take it apart to mess with again, so I decided the following:

  1. Fix it and sell it.
  2. Z31 Swap.

So, I started looking for a donor car and found one within about 30 minutes. Not sure when it will be delivered, but it should be soon. This supports a simple life lesson I learned long ago…two of the actually…that I know work…shit you not!

  1. K.I.S.S. – Keep It Simple Stupid
  2. Stick with what you know works

In the meantime… here’s the sound of the soon to be old drivetrain at full song…enjoy…while it lasts.  –  https://goo.gl/dQaqsn

BiTurbo Tuesday

I sure do get a lot of hits for the BiTurbo. Would it help some of you guys if I were to update the blow with some of the things I am doing with the car? Leave a comment or shoot me a note to my email. I’m happy to share as I have been debating selling it……I simply do not drive the thing and I need a 4 door sedan for the kiddos……hmmmmmmm.

Anyways, here is a recent picture of it…I need to get the front rotors turned…or find some awesome big brake kit for it, possibly use the Ferrari Brembos I have from the 348.
